The SSMT clinic offers blood, urine and stool testing services in a welcoming facility located at 1171 boulevard Saint-Joseph. You’ll be taken care of quickly, with or without an appointment, avoiding long waits at the region’s blood collection centers.
Services are reimbursed by most insurers, and samples are sent to the CISSS de l’Outaouais laboratory or, for results within 48 hours, to the private Dynacare laboratory.

- Results available within 24-48 hours*
- Results sent to the doctor(s) indicated on your request
- Access to your results on the online platform (For patients registered with Dynacare Plus)

- Additional charges may apply for exception tests

Do I need a prescription for blood tests and other analyses?
What's the difference between CISSSO's public laboratory and Dynacare's private laboratory?
Each laboratory has its own advantages, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.
CISSSO laboratory: Results are available within 5 to 7 days (some exceptions apply). Results are sent by the laboratory to the prescribing physician indicated on the request. SSMT Clinique médicale does not receive a copy of the results, and the patient does not have access to the results. The cost of analysis at this laboratory is lower.
Dynacare private laboratory: Results are available within 24 to 48 hours (some exceptions apply). Results are sent by the laboratory to the prescribing physician indicated on the request. SSMT Clinique médicale receives a copy of the results to add to your file, and the patient has access to his or her results online (for patients with a Dynacare plus subscription). The cost of analysis at this laboratory is higher.
Do I have to fast for my samples?
Some samples require you to fast for a pre-determined period of time, usually between 8am and 12pm. This information is usually indicated on your medical request. If you are unsure, please call our team at 819-595-0790 and we’ll be happy to help.
Do I need a RAMQ or OHIP card if I take my blood samples with Dynacare's private laboratory?
